SUPPORT MINISTRIES
Pikes Peak Park Baptist Church offers many ministries that support our community. We have these ministries available for those to be involved or to volunteer in:
Home School Support Group , Every 3rd Monday of the Month, at 7 p.m.
Mission: Encouraging, strengthening and motivating Moms through friendship and fellowship. And enriching the lives of our children through educational, spiritual, and social opportunities.
Meetings are in the months of August, September, October, November, January, February, March, April and May.
Proverbs 2:4-6, "and if you call our for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom, and from His mouth comes knowledge and understanding."
"Overcomers Outreach" is a unique lay ministry that was originally born out of an expressed deep need for a support system, especially for individuals and families within evangelical Christian churches who were wrestling with the disease of alcoholism and other addictions and compulsions.
Pikes Peak Park Baptist Church operates a state certified Day Care Center. The purpose of our daycare is to create a safe, fun, and caring environment that shows Jesus' love to kids in a loving Christian setting.
The Day Care is for children 2 1/2 through 12 years of age. The preschool program is for children 2 1/2 through Kindergarten with our formal preschool instruction from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. For older children we have a before and after school program along with a full-day summer program.
The church also has a food pantry ministry. We ask our members for food donations so we can then turn around and help those families who are in need. This ministry also helps contribute to the Thanksgiving and Christmas Baskets. |
